Aunque ahora no publico tantas recetas de galletas como en los primeros años de blog ya que a menudo repito las que más nos gustan en casa, me sigue gustando probar alguna nuevas para ir ampliando el repertorio.
Esta vez se trata de unas galletas de mantequilla normales, prácticamente solo harina, azúcar y mantequilla, con la particularidad de que esta vez emplearemos este último ingrediente en su variedad salada, lo que les da un sabor especial muy agradable.
Si os decidís a probarlas ya veréis que no tienen ningún misterio, solamente mezclar los ingredientes y respetar el periodo de enfriado para poder manejar bien la masa.
Si no os apetece trocear el chocolate podéis emplear pepitas de chocolate, aunque no quedarán con el aspecto rústico tan atractivo que da el chocolate troceado.
Partir el chocolate en trozos no muy pequeños.
Trocear en dados la mantequilla recién sacada del frigorífico.
poner la mantequilla en el bol de la amasadora con las dos clases de azúcar y mezclar con la pala durante unos 5 minutos hasta que estén bien mezclados. Añadir la harina y seguir mezclando hasta tener una masa homogénea.
Por último, añadir los trocitos de chocolate, mezclar bien y formar una bola.
Dividir la masa en dos trozos y modelar cada parte en un cilindro de unos 4 ó 5 cm de diámetro, envolverlos en film y dejarlos enfríar en el frigorífico al menos durante dos horas o toda la noche.
Pasado este tiempo, batir el huevo y pincelar con él los cilindros y pasarlos por azúcar moreno.
Cortar los cilindros en rebanadas de 1,5 cm más o menos. Poner un poquito de sal sobre cada una.
Hornear en el horno precalentado a 170º durante unos 15 minutos. Aunque pasado este tiempo aún estén muy blandas, al estar fuera del horno endurecerán.
